Community Yard Sale I September 17
We will host a Community Yard Sale on September 17 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. This event will include a Kids Zone, Food options, and a variety of vendors to purchase from. If you'd like to be a vendor, please contact Lisa Black at yardsale@gofbcd.org
Trunk N Treat I October 30th

Kid's Ministry
(Preschool - 5th Grade)
Kickoff Sunday I August 7
Promotion Sunday - All children will move to the next Sunday School grade level.
Family Worship Sunday - All children in Kindergarten and up will join their families in the Worship Center.
Wednesday Night Programming I Begins August 17
Wednesday programming this Fall will resume on August 17th, beginning with Kids Choir at 6:00 pm and Wednesday Night Blast beginning at 6:30 pm. Preschool activities (including choir) begin at 6:30 pm.
First Connect Kids I August 14, 21, and 28
First Connect Kids is a three-week "next step" for children who have received Christ as their Savior and desire to be baptized. The class meets during the Sunday School hour (9:15-10:30 am) on Sundays.
First Grade Bible Day I August 28
We value the Bible here at FBCD and have a special moment in our worship service on August 28th to present the new First Graders their very own Bibles.
Christmas Shoebox Packing Party I November 16
We participate in the Samaritan's Purse Christmas Shoebox Ministry each year. We will have a "packing party" on November 16th from 6:30 - 8:00 pm.

D Groups I Begins August 17
We are starting Discipleship Groups (aka "D Groups") this Fall. These are small groups led by an adult mentor for the purpose of deepening our walk with Christ. D Groups will meet on campus in various rooms around the church building. If you are interested in joining a D Group, please click the link below.
The Gathering I Begins August 21
The Gathering is our weekly Student worship and Bible study time. Hangout begins at 6:15 pm with worship at 7:00 pm.
Corn Maze I October 15
Join us for an off-campus trip to a corn maze.

Sunday School Teacher Training I Begins August 17
Our Sunday School teachers receive training on Wednesday evenings. This will begin on August 17th at 6:30 pm and will meet in Room 416/417.
School of Church Leadership I Begins August 21
School of Church Leadership is an opportunity to learn how to live on mission in your home, your church, and your community. Participants will be trained in theology, Bible study, teaching, evangelism, and much more. Please contact Pastor Eli Byrd for more information: ebyrd@gofbcd.org.
Power Hour
Power Hour is a traditional Bible Study that meets each Sunday evening at 5:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall.

Worship Arts Ministry
Adult Choir
Adult choir is open for anyone in 6th grade and above. Auditions are not required. Come help us praise what we prize! Choir rehearsal is every Wednesday at 6:30 pm in the Choir Suite and is meeting now.
Orchestra
Orchestra is open for anyone in 9th grade and above. Auditions are required. Come help us praise what we prize! Orchestra rehearsal is every Wednesday at 7:00 pm in the Worship Center.
Night of Worship I August 14
