First Connection is Sunday, February 8. Join us in the Fellowship Hall to learn more about who FBCD is and where we are going. The class is taught in both English and Spanish and is a great first-step in joining our church family or simply hearing our heart for the gospel, our community, and for making disciples. Childcare and lunch are provided. You can RSVP by clicking the link below. However, walk-ups are always welcome, too.

PRAYER GATHERING

Wednesday, February 4 we will have our monthly Prayer Gathering at 6:30 pm in the Worship Center. This will take the place of regular adult and student Wednesday night programming. Please fill out this link with any prayer requests, and we will pray over these during this time.

STRAWBERRY FUNDRAISER
Want to help a student go to Global Camp this summer? You can help by purchasing strawberries from the Strawberry Fundraiser. Full Flats: $30.00 & ½ Flat: $17.00. The deadline to purchase is Wednesday, February 11. They will be delivered late February/early March. If you would like to purchase strawberries, participate in selling, or donate to Global Camp, please contact Joan Cole.

GALENTINE'S EVENT

We want to love on the widows and single ladies of our church with a fun and free fellowship event. Come experience the love of King Jesus and His church this Valentine’s Day. There will be food, fellowship, time in the Word, games, and prizes from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.

TUMBLING CLASSES
Sparx Cheer is hosting Level 1 Tumble classes during our off-season to help athletes keep up on their skills! Classes begin March 3 and will run through April 28. We will offer two 4-week sessions on Tuesdays in March and April. We will not meet April 7 due to Spring break. Athletes may sign up for one session or both. The cost is $40 per session. There will be 2 times to choose from, 6:00-7:00 pm or 7:00-8:00 pm, allowing athletes to choose which time works best. For questions, contact gocheer@gofbcd.org.

Disciple Now (DNow) is a weekend event for students all over the county who come together to worship the Lord and grow in their faith. DNow will be March 6-8 and the cost is $55. FLAG FOOTBALL
Flag Football registration is now open for 1st-8th grade boys and girls. Go Sports Athletics is eager to help young athletes grow in their skill while simultaneously strengthening their relationship with Christ. Evaluations will be February 21 so save the date!

LOTTIE MOON
The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering is an annual offering collected by believers around the world to support international missions. Our church family has raised $26,005. Our goal is $30,000 so prayerfully consider giving above your normal tithe and join us in this opportunity to take the gospel to the nations. This offering will be open until the end of January.
